十一、into的譯法
1. 表示動(dòng)作的方向，可以譯為“到……里”、“進(jìn)入”等，也可以靈活翻譯。如：?
* During that time the blood carries the radioactive oxygen up into the brain.
在這段時(shí)間里血液能把放射性氧帶入腦部。
2. 表示動(dòng)作實(shí)施的對象，可譯為“對”、“針對”，或根據(jù)上下文靈活體現(xiàn)其含義。 如：
* Two spacecraft are being launched to probe deeply into the atmosphere of Venus.
將發(fā)射兩個(gè)航天器來深入探測金星的大氣層。
3. 表示變化，可譯為“轉(zhuǎn)換成”、“變成”。如：
* The light emitting diode is used to turn electrical signals into light pulses.
發(fā)光二極管用來把電信號(hào)變?yōu)楣饷}沖。
十二、of的譯法_
1. 在“名詞+ of +名詞”的結(jié)構(gòu)中，表示與某人、某事有關(guān)，常?？上确gOf后面的名詞，并將介詞Of譯成“對”、“對于”，也可譯為“關(guān)于”、“在……方面”等， 或根據(jù)需要靈活翻譯。如：
* From the preceding discussion of the kinetic theory of matter it is clear that heat is a form of energy.
從前面有關(guān)物質(zhì)分子運(yùn)動(dòng)論的討論中可以清楚看出，熱是ー種能量形式。
2. 表示所屬關(guān)系，其結(jié)構(gòu)為“be + of+名詞”，可譯為“屬于”，或者省譯。如：
* A large number of radioactive isotopes among the heavy elements are of three series.
重元素中的大量放射性同位素分別屬于三個(gè)系列。
3. 表示部分或個(gè)體與全部的關(guān)系，可譯為“在……中”、“中的”等。如：
* Of the half-dozen processes, the two basic ones are clarification and filtration.
在這六種方法中，最基本的兩種方法是澄清和過濾。
