b) 現(xiàn)在分詞短語作后置定語的譯法
現(xiàn)在分詞短語作定語時，放在它所修飾的名詞的后面，其功用相當于定語從句。它通常包括后置的現(xiàn)在分詞+賓語，因此，漢譯時常常被譯為動賓關系的“的”字結構的定語，并放在所修飾的名詞前。如：
* This kind of pump is suitable for handling solutions containing certain corrosive gases.
這種泵適合于處理含有某些腐蝕性氣體的溶液。
* The crystal oscillator using a new frequency temperature compensation method is shown in Fig. 8.
使用新的頻率溫度補償法的晶體振蕩器示于圖8。
