　　問：美國國務院已批準向臺灣出售總值約22億美元的武器裝備。中方是否就此向美方提出交涉？

　　答：美方向臺灣出售武器嚴重違反國際法和國際關系基本準則，嚴重違反一個中國原則和中美三個聯(lián)合公報規(guī)定，粗暴干涉中國內(nèi)政，損害中國主權和安全利益。中方對此表示強烈不滿和堅決反對，已就此向美方提出嚴正交涉。

Q: The US State Department has approved a $2.2 billion arms sale package to Taiwan. Has the Chinese government already complained to the US about this?

A: The US arms sale to Taiwan gravely violates international law and basic norms in international relations, seriously breaches the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiques, flagrantly interferes in China's domestic affairs and harms China's sovereignty and security interests. China deplores and resolutely opposes it. We have lodged stern representations with the US.

　　臺灣是中國領土不可分割的一部分。任何人都不要低估中國政府和人民捍衛(wèi)國家主權和領土完整、反對外來干涉的堅強意志和堅定決心。中方敦促美方恪守一個中國原則和中美三個聯(lián)合公報規(guī)定，立即撤銷上述對臺軍售計劃，停止美臺軍事聯(lián)系，以免對中美關系和臺海和平穩(wěn)定造成進一步損害。

Taiwan is an inalienable part of the Chinese territory. No one should underestimate the Chinese government and people's will and resolve to defend our sovereignty and territorial integrity against foreign interference. We urge the US to stay committed to the one-China principle and the three joint communiques, cancel this arms sale immediately and stop military ties with Taiwan to prevent further damage to China-US relations and peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.

　　問：最近日本對韓國企業(yè)斷供半導體材料。中方對日方的貿(mào)易制裁措施有何評論？

　　答：我們注意到有關報道。在當前世界經(jīng)濟面臨單邊主義、保護主義挑戰(zhàn)的背景下，我們希望日韓雙方在相互尊重、平等相待、互利共贏的基礎上通過對話協(xié)商妥善解決有關問題。

Q: Recently Japan stopped supplying semi-conductor materials to ROK businesses. What's China's comment on Japan's trade sanctions measures?

A: We note the reports. As the world is challenged by unilateralism and protectionism, we hope Japan and the ROK will solve relevant issues through dialogue and consultation on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit.

　　問：香港特首林鄭月娥稱《逃犯條例》草案已“壽終正寢”，盡管她并未正式撤回草案。林鄭表態(tài)前是否與中央政府溝通？中央政府是否支持特區(qū)政府上述立場？

　　答：6月15日，特區(qū)政府宣布暫緩修例工作的決定后，中央政府表示支持、尊重和理解。對此我沒有新的補充。

Q: Hong Kong's Chief Executive Carrie Lam said today that the extradition bill is "dead" although she stopped short of a formal withdrawal. Was this position discussed with Beijing? Does Beijing support the Hong Kong government in this position?

A: China's Central Government supports, respects and understands the SAR government's decision on June 15 to suspend work on the amendment bill. I have nothing further to add.

　　問：據(jù)媒體報道，中國交通運輸部日前發(fā)布通知，將通過馬六甲海峽的中方船只保安等級提升至3級。有傳言稱中方將派軍艦赴馬六甲海峽對本國船只實行護航。你能否證實？

　　答：我上周已經(jīng)回答過相關問題。中國交通運輸部發(fā)布通知是根據(jù)有關國際公約和國內(nèi)法規(guī)采取的舉措，旨在應對可能出現(xiàn)的風險，確保相關船只的航行安全。

　　至于你所說的傳言，那完全是謠言，毫無根據(jù)。

Q: Media reported that China's Ministry of Transport recently issued a notice raising the security level of Chinese ships sailing through the Strait of Malacca to level three. There is word that China will send warships there to escort Chinese ships. Can you confirm that?

A: I took a relevant question last week. The Ministry of Transport issued the notice pursuant to provisions of relevant international conventions and domestic laws and regulations. It is aimed at preparing for possible risks and ensuring safe passage.

As to sending warships to escort Chinese ships, that is nothing but rumors fabricated out of thin air.
