最近，美國提高對中國輸美商品加征關稅的稅率，這種極限施壓的做法純粹是損人害己，絲毫不具建設性。美方此舉嚴重違背兩國元首大阪會晤共識，踐踏多邊貿(mào)易規(guī)則，損害中美兩國利益，威脅全球產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈、供應鏈安全，拖累國際貿(mào)易和世界經(jīng)濟增長。中方對美方這種赤裸裸的貿(mào)易霸凌行徑和極限施壓做法表示堅決反對，決不接受。根據(jù)美《紐約時報》、《金融時報》等多家媒體報道，美國對華加征關稅將導致美國經(jīng)濟增長前景黯淡。如持續(xù)升級貿(mào)易戰(zhàn)，未來一年美國經(jīng)濟下滑的可能性將達45%，美國民眾損失688億美元，并且將損及全球經(jīng)濟。中美經(jīng)濟相互交織，兩國切斷經(jīng)濟聯(lián)系不現(xiàn)實，也不符合兩國利益，占全球經(jīng)濟總量40%的中美兩國中斷合作，只會導致世界經(jīng)濟混亂。中美在經(jīng)貿(mào)領域存在的分歧應該通過對話協(xié)商加以解決。我們希望美方能夠保持冷靜，回歸理性，停止錯誤做法，為雙方在相互尊重、平等互利的基礎上開展磋商創(chuàng)造條件。
Dear Students,
Recently, the United States raised tariffs on Chinese goods to its exportation. The US move violates the two presidents' Osaka consensus, tramples on multilateral trading rules, harms both countries' interests, threatens the security of the global industrial chain and supply chain, and drags down global trade and world economic growth. It is not constructive in any way and no one, not even the US itself, stands to gain. China firmly opposes and rejects such stark bullying and maximum pressuring tactics in trade. According to "New York Times""Financial Times"and other media have said that the adding tariffs on China goods by the United States will lead to a bleak outlook for US economic growth. If the trade disputes continues to escalate, the possibility of the US economic downturn in the next year will reach 45%, and the US people will lose 68.8 billion USD, which will damage the global economy. The US-China economy is intertwined, it is unrealistic for China and the US to cut off economic ties and also not in the interests of the two countries. The disruption of cooperation between the two countries which account for 40% of the total global economy, will only lead to world economic chaos. Trade disputes between China and the US should be resolved through dialogue and consultation.We hope the US will remain calm, return to reason, and immediately stop its wrong approach so as to create conditions for bilateral consultations based on mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit.

如你們所知，今年6月以來，在香港發(fā)生的反修例示威游行已經(jīng)演變?yōu)闃O端暴力行為，嚴重觸犯法律，嚴重危害香港社會安全穩(wěn)定，嚴重干擾民香港市民生命財產(chǎn)安全和正常生活秩序。這是一小撮亂港、禍港分子企圖搞亂香港，進而遏制中國的發(fā)展。香港局勢的惡化與美國一些政客的不負責言論和煽風點火是分不開的，暴露他們企圖反中亂港的險惡用心。中國中央政府堅定支持香港行政長官帶領特區(qū)政府依法施政，支持香港警察嚴正執(zhí)法，堅決支持依法懲治暴力犯罪分子。如果香港局勢出現(xiàn)惡化，中央政府絕不會坐視不管，按照基本法規(guī)定，中央政府有足夠多的辦法、足夠強大的力量迅速平息可能出現(xiàn)的各種動亂。香港回歸祖國20多年、實行“一國兩制”以來保持平穩(wěn)發(fā)展，依附內(nèi)地改革開放，經(jīng)濟保持繁榮發(fā)展。我希望朋友們要認清事實真相，關心香港的長期穩(wěn)定發(fā)展。中國完全有信心有能力應對各種風險挑戰(zhàn)，切實維護國家主權(quán)、安全和發(fā)展利益。那些想搞亂香港、搞垮中國經(jīng)濟、阻止中華民族偉大復興的圖謀注定以失敗告終！

As you know, anti-revision demonstrations since Jun in Hong Kong have evolved into extreme violence, seriously violating the laws, seriously endangering Hong Kong's social security and stability, and seriously interfering with Hong Kong people's lives, property and normal living order.This is the manipulation of those who are chaotic to Hong Kong and who are harmful to Hong Kong, for their own political purposes, they will attempt to disrupt Hong Kong and curb China's development. The deterioration of the situation in Hong Kong is inseparable from irresponsible remarks and incitement by US politicians, which exposes their sinister intention to counter China's unrest against Hong Kong. The central government of China firmly supports the Chief Executive of Hong Kong to lead Special Administrative Region to govern according to law, the Hong Kong police to strictly enforce the law, and the punishment of violent criminals according to law. If the situation of Hong Kong deteriorates, the central government has enough measures and powerful forces to quickly quell all possible riots according to the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Hong Kong has maintained steady and prosperous development since its return to the motherland with implementing of "one country, two systems". I hope that friends will recognize the truth and care about the long-term stable development of Hong Kong. China is fully confident of its ability to deal with various risks and challenges and earnestly safeguard its national sovereignty, security and development interests. Those attempts to disrupt Hong Kong, destroy China's economy and prevent the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation are doomed to failure.
