你們是中國和索馬里友好的民間使者。中索友誼源遠流長。600多年前，中國著名航海家兩次率領船隊前往摩加迪沙，開啟了中索友好的歷史篇章。自1960年中索建交以來，兩國各領域友好合作取得了豐碩成果。中國為索馬里建設了89個項目，包括道路、水庫、電站、醫(yī)院、學校、劇院、體育場等，這些迄今仍廣為傳頌。1991年以來，中國在雙邊和多邊領域積極支持索馬里和平、重建和發(fā)展。自2011年迄今，中國政府向索馬里提供了力所能及的人道主義物資等援助，衷心祝愿索馬里實現(xiàn)持久和平、穩(wěn)定和繁榮。中國是索馬里真誠友好的伙伴，積極幫助索馬里開發(fā)人力資源，培養(yǎng)國家需要的人才。近年來，中國政府向索馬里提供了大量的政府獎學金。目前，索馬里學生正在中國多所知名大學深造，為增進中索友好作出了積極貢獻。中方愿積極推動兩國教育領域的合作，促進兩國青年學生之間的交流。今年，中國向索馬里提供政府獎學金和中非友誼獎學金。為開發(fā)索馬里人力資源和培養(yǎng)國家建設人才，中國將向索馬里提供更多的各類獎學金,幫助索青年成就青春夢想。曾在中國留學的索馬里學生成立了索馬里—中國友好協(xié)會，續(xù)寫了兩國人民友誼的新篇章，在此，我謹向他們表示誠摯的感謝。希望新同學到中國后，多了解中國文化，刻苦學習，學成后成為促進中國和索馬里友好的部長、技術專家、首席執(zhí)行官、經(jīng)理、教授、學者，成為兩國友好和文化的傳播者、實踐者，希望老同學們繼續(xù)為中國和索馬里友誼奉獻你們的智慧和力量！
Dear students,
You are the friendly civil envoys of the relationship between China and Somalia. China and Somalia enjoy a long friendship. More than 600 years ago, the famous Chinese navigators led the fleet to Mogadishu, opening the history of China-Somalia friendship. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Somalia in 1960, fruitful results of friendly cooperation in various fields have been achieved. China has built 89 projects for Somalia, such as roads, reservoir, hospital, schools, theatre and stadium, which are still widely praised by people. Since 1991, China has actively supported peace, reconstruction and development in Somalia in bilateral and multilateral fields. Since 2011, The Chinese government has actively provided humanitarian assistance to Somalia within its capabilities.We sincerely wish Somalia lasting peace, stability and prosperity. China is a sincere and friendly partner of Somalia, and actively helps Somalia to develop human resources and cultivate and train personnel needed by Somalia. Since recent years, the Chinese government has provided a large number of government scholarships to Somalia. At present, Somali students are studying in more than 30 well-known universities in China and have made positive contributions to promoting China-Somalia friendship. China is ready to actively promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and promote exchanges between young students of the two countries. This year, China has offered 37 government scholarships and 20 scholarships of China-Africa Friendship Award to Somalia. In order to develop Somali human resources and train national construction personnel, China will provide more scholarships to Somalia. Somali students who studied in China set up the Somali-China Friendship Association, which has succeeded in writing a new chapter of friendship between the two peoples, here I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for this. I hope that new students will understand more about Chinese culture, become ministers, technical experts, CEOs, managers, professors and scholars who promote friendship between China and Somalia, and become communicators and practitioners of friendship and culture between the two countries, hope you will continue to contribute your wisdom and strength to China-Somalia friendship.

Dear Students,
You will go to study in China on the occasion of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, and witness the tremendous achievements that have been made by China since the founding of New China. After seven decades of construction and development, including over four decades of reform and opening up, China has made glorious achievements in especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The Communist Party of China, after seven decades of arduous struggle, has successfully embarked on a path of China's socialism with characteristics and achieved enormous national development. China has developed into the second largest economy in the world, and its GDP has exceeded 90 trillion RMB. It is the general trend of China's sustained economic growth in the long run, steady and sound economic development. The stable, healthy and sustainable development of China's economy has sufficient supporting conditions. China is a country with nearly 1.4 billion people, 900 million labor force, 170 million highly educated and skilled human resources, the largest middle-income group in the world, and more than 100 million market participants. We have the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, our greatest strength lies in our socialist system, which enables us to pool resources in a major mission. This is the key to our success. The solid material and technological foundation of sustained and rapid development have been accumulated since the reform and opening up, and tremendous development resilience, potential. China's economic development will be better and better, and we welcome Somalia to board China's express train of development.
