兩句共六個(gè)分句，按邏輯語義可分為兩大部分:位置、地位與區(qū)域規(guī)模，因而劃為兩個(gè)SV結(jié)構(gòu)的句子較為合理。在SV1中，語義重心為“是……的中心”，其它為從屬部分;SV2中，中心語義為 “轄七區(qū)六縣”，其它部分表具體內(nèi)容，作定語。全句運(yùn)用了英語中各種掛連手段（V-ed分詞短語，名詞同位語，定語從句）完成整句空間搭架，語義重心突出，從屬部分層次分明。
4. 亞洲經(jīng)濟(jì)是世界經(jīng)濟(jì)的重要組成部分，亞洲經(jīng)濟(jì)蓬勃發(fā)展，為世界經(jīng)濟(jì)增添了新的活力，為國防賞易和投資開辟了巨大市場(chǎng)。

若按慣常的處理手法將譯文句式處理為“蓬勃發(fā)展的亞洲經(jīng)濟(jì)為……。增添了和開辟了……”，勢(shì)必造成原文1、2分句在譯文中關(guān)系不易吻合。此譯用最簡潔的方式將原文第3分句略怍變通， 構(gòu)成全句語義重心：“亞洲經(jīng)歷了經(jīng)濟(jì)的蓬勃發(fā)展”，因而順利地解決了這一矛盾：原文1分句作譯文主語同位語，3、4分句處理為從屬部分，由which引出怍定語，圍繞漢語語義重心（譯文SV結(jié)構(gòu)） 完成空間搭架,較好地表達(dá)了原意，避免了句式的冗長和累贅。
5.只有堅(jiān)決地系統(tǒng)地進(jìn)行改革，城市經(jīng)濟(jì)才能興旺繁榮，才能適應(yīng)對(duì)內(nèi)搞活，對(duì)外開放的需要，真正起到應(yīng)有的主導(dǎo)作用， 推動(dòng)接個(gè)國民經(jīng)濟(jì)更快地發(fā)展。

(1)漢語語義關(guān)系淸楚：“只有……才能”，主次分明。但此譯文未按這種正常的關(guān)系處理譯文，而是將原條件分句處理為譯文SV主干句：“堅(jiān)決系統(tǒng)的改革才是……的唯一辦法”，將原漢語的中心語義部分處理為同位語從句，由that引出，說明主句表語(the only way)的內(nèi)容；（2)在同位語從句中，將SV2 主干定在“城市將起到應(yīng)有的主導(dǎo)作用”上，其它四個(gè)分句表SV2的方式，用介詞“in”引出四個(gè)V-ing分詞短語，分別掛連在該SV2主干上。這樣,便形成 全句SV1 + SV2的主從復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)，同樣主次分明，更加強(qiáng)了原文語義的表達(dá)。當(dāng)然，這種處理是考慮篇章布局中variety的需要而如此進(jìn)行的，一般可按正常邏輯關(guān)系進(jìn)行處理。
