3. 對詞義理解錯(cuò)了：

我曾聽人說起他，但是我并不認(rèn)識他。
I have heard him, but I don't know him. (錯(cuò)）
應(yīng)為：I have heard of him, but I don't know him.
學(xué)生正忙著準(zhǔn)備大考。
The students are busy preparing the final examination.(錯(cuò)）
應(yīng)為：The students are busy preparing for the examination.
注:學(xué)生為了大考作準(zhǔn)備，而不是籌備這工作。

4.誤用介詞：
他努力學(xué)習(xí)，因此學(xué)業(yè)上取得很大進(jìn)步。
He studied hard. With a result，he made great progress in his studies.(錯(cuò)）
句中“with a result”應(yīng)改為“as a result”。
教師要我們把這一句用自己的話譯出來。
The teacher wanted us to paraphrase the sentence with our own words. (錯(cuò)）
句中“with our own words”應(yīng)改為：“in our own words”。
