口譯和筆譯的不同還在于口譯中接觸大量的口語化句子，這類句子在書面文件里是少見或不用的。在口譯中需要很好地處理這類用語或句子，使聽者感到自然而易懂。以下試舉一些例子，譯法不一定好僅僅作為一種探討：
1、“辛告了”一語在外文里很難表達。當外賓剛下飛機時，“辛苦了”可譯為：
You've had a long flight (or tiring journey).
Did you have a good trip?
對工作勞累和辦事辛苦，可說：
You've been working hard.
Thank you for your hard work.
You've had a hectic (tiring) day.
Thank you for all the trouble you've taken.
2、談得攏、談不攏。
See eye to eye, do not see eye to eye.
談得攏或談不攏都不緊要。
It doesn't matter whether we can agree or not.
3、對某人或某國做工作。
To work on…; to talk to…about…; to try to persuade…; to try to dissuade…; to do something to persuade…
4、不買帳。我們對兩個超級大國都不買帳。
We are not going to take it from either of the two super powers.
We won't buy the stuff of any of the two super-powers,
5、你的有道理。
You have a point in saying that…
You have a point there.
6、交底。我們把底統(tǒng)統(tǒng)都交了。
We hide nothing from you.
We have given you the bottom line.
