13.狀語(yǔ)從句
Young as he is，he is really experienced in teaching.
You see the lightning the instance it happens, but you hear the thunder later.

14.其他結(jié)構(gòu)
a.巧妙地改寫(xiě)
I.only 改成 no one but
Only Tom passed the exam last week.
—> No one but Tom passed the exam.
II.as soon as...改成 no sooner... than.../hardly... when...等
As soon as we had arrived at the cinema, the film started.
—>No sooner had we arrived at the cinema than the film started.
III.have sb/sth do/done
The girl was knocked off her bicycle and her leg was broken.
—> The girl was knocked off her bicycle and had her leg broken.
b.變換插人語(yǔ)的位置
However, they suggest fees should be charged low.
—> They suggest, however, fees should be charged low.

—> This is a good chance for you，I think，to show your singing talent，and how well you’ve learned Chinese.
c.用同位語(yǔ)代替非限制性定語(yǔ)從句
Mary，who is thirteen years old, has been learning to ride a bicycle for several days.
—> Mary, a girl of thirteen, has been learning to ride a bicycle for several days.
Shakespeare，who was a son from a poor family and a man of little education，wrote plays and poems that are read all over the world.
—> Shakespeare，a son from a poor family, a man of little education，wrote plays and poems that are read all over the world.
